WHAT IS WATER TREATMENT REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM
How is water treatment done? What are the properties of hard and soft water?
What is Water Treatment?
The purification of the waters, which are objectionable to drinking, using or leaving to the environment, from the pollutant parameters by passing through various processes is called "Water Treatment".
Is Purified Water Healthy?
Of course, the waters that have been passed through the correctly designed treatment systems are healthy according to your needs. However, water supplied from improperly selected purifiers without attention can be harmful and even cause disease. The responsibility here lies entirely with the design engineer. In general, problems caused by poor device quality are secondary problems. Primary problems are caused by the wrong design, since such devices are not very malfunctioning devices.
What is Hard Water?
Hard water is normally the most common problem in residential units. Hard water is water that contains more than 1 GPG of hardness minerals. The most common hardness minerals are calcium, manganese and magnesium. As these minerals increase in it, the hardness of the water increases.
How to Soften Water?
If your water is hard above 10 Fr, it must be softened.
The most practical way to soften water is to use ion-changing resin. Ion-changing resin systems usually work by replacing sodium ions with hardness ions. During the process, water passes through the resin particles. The electric charge on the resin particles keeps the sodium ions on the resin particle. However, resin particles also have the ability to hold hardness minerals. The ability of resin grains to retain hardness minerals is greater than the ability to retain sodium ions. In this way, the ion exchange takes place.
After a certain amount of hard water passes through the resin bed, the resin particles are completely covered with hardness minerals. In this case, the retention of hardness minerals ends. In order for the hardness ions to be re-held from the water, it is necessary to remove the resin particles from the hardness minerals and reconnect the sodium particles. This process is called 'regeneration'. During regeneration, salt water is given to the resin tank and resin sodium is saturated. High concentrations of sodium ions accumulated in the resin tank separate hardness ions from resin particles. Resin is then rinsed with clean water, removing excess salt and hardness minerals from the tan. The resin tank is ready to hold the hardness ions again.
How to Check For Regeneration in Softening Units?
There are usually two types of control mechanisms.
Quantity (Flow) Controlled: The control group depends on a water meter. The amount of water that the resin can soften is defined in the control group. When a specified amount of water passes through the tank, the device receives a signal to regenerate. Typically used in systems between two warehouses
Time controlled: Regeneration control is carried out through the time clock on the control group. There should be enough resin in the tank to be sufficient for the amount of water to be softened between the two regeneration intervals.
Which Water Analyses Should Be Performed?
Appearance, color, blurring, total hardness, chloride, conductivity, nitrite, ammonia, nitrate, iron, lead, manganese, alkalinity, PH, total bacteria, coli form bacteria are parameters to look at.
What is Activated Carbon? How Does It Provide a Treatment?
The common application area of activated carbon is the removal of organic matter, color, smell, taste and chlorine present in water. But here, it's not just a physical filtering process. Activated carbon systems are physic-chemical treatment systems and the adsorption mechanism operates during the treatment of water. Activated carbon coal is a material with a very large surface area (1000-1500 m2/gr). It is widely used in waters with organic pollution and for chlorine removal purposes.
One thing to consider about activated carbon is that it can create a suitable environment for bacterial growth. Because activated carbon retains organic matter, and if there are bacteria in the water, the bacteria can reproduce using this organic matter as a nutrient. In such cases, it is possible to form bacterial leakage. For this reason, it is important to disinfect the water before and after activated carbon.
In the design of activated carbon systems, the bearing speed in the unit tank should not exceed 25 mt/h for chlorine removal and 6 mt/hour for organic matter removal. In cases exceeding this speed, the unit will not operate efficiently.
Is It Right to Water a Garden with Softened Water?
It is inconvenient to use in garden irrigation after softening of water with raw water hardness above 30 Fr. Because as the water hardness increases, the amount of sodium given to the water also increases. Sodium, on the other hand, is an inconvenient parameter for plants and herbs to be present in irrigation water. Herbs igated with sodium-rich waters become yellowish in color.
What is Reverse Osmosis?
Reverse osmosis is the name of the membrane filtration process, which separates all unwanted minerals in water from water and is used for the supply of pure water and drinking water. These systems operate cross-flow. It is not a filtration process in the known sense. Because the pores on the membrane that allow water to pass through are extremely small. (One hole diameter of approximately 1 mm per 2,000,000). Only water molecules and some very small inorganic molecules can pass through such a small pore. Other molecules are expelled from the system in the concentrated water phase
What Does Lead in Water Mean?
Lead is a serious risk to human health. Lead can be mixed into the water through lead pipes and gaskets. Lead causes hypertension, difficulty hearing, anemia, kidney disease and loss of intelligence in humans. Removal of lead from water is only possible with reverse osmosis unit or water softening unit
The water treatment system is not a concept we've just met. But advances in water treatment systems technology show that there is a whole new order here waiting to be rediscovered. And a layout that will allow you to completely forget your old experiences.
Clean drinking water is not just a matter for a city, for a country; it is the common issue of the whole world, of all humanity. The fact that mains water can also be used as drinking water is likewise not only about the health or economy of the people who use it. How about getting to the very bottom of the water treatment issue, which is closely related to the future of the whole world? It will be much easier for you to own something you know. Here is the working order of water treatment systems...
1. Constant cycle of waterFirst you need to know that the amount of water in the world never changes. As long as the constant cycle of water does not change, the amount of water will not change either. Water evaporating from oceans, rivers and lakes rains as fresh rain with the help of clouds, and as long as this cycle continues, the amount of water will remain the same. You can also understand the love and respect of water treatment systems for nature here.
Cycle 2, of course, is contaminated! In fact, this impeccable and hard-to-believe cycle alone was enough to keep our water clean. But the huge levels of pollution around the world have eliminated the chance of this cycle alone providing clean water to people. Pollution that gets into the air or directly into the water, the fumes that enter the atmosphere, cause the water to become dirty, both evaporating and raining.
3.Su, how sweet you are! A quarter of the world is water, but only one percent of these waters are fresh water... Accessing this fresh water also seems impossible because of the lives we live and the environmental factors. In fact, it is possible to reach this water from the tap, but due to the extent of the pollution, drinking water from the tap is equated with a horror movie scene. But thanks to the reverse osmosis system that makes a difference, it will go from being a horror movie scene to becoming one of the best decisions you've ever made in your life.
4.Reverse Osmosis systemTers osmosis is a revolutionary technology and has a tremendous system for drinking water from the tap. When it first appeared, it was used to produce drinking water on ships, but today, with the advancement of technology, reverse osmosis has managed to enter our homes.
In short, the reverse osmosis system that converts seawater into drinking water is a completely natural method. The process of absorption of water from a less dense environment to a very dense environment is called Osmosis. Reverse osmosis reverses this process with pressure and allows you to get clean water.
5. Filters The osmosis system requires a total of 6 stages, which means that the water travels through 6 different filters during the treatment process.
-Sediment filter
-Front carbon filter
-Membrane filter
-Final carbon filter
-Fine filter
-Anti-bacterial (ceramic) filter
To summarize the process of these six filters, each of them is dealing with dirt and bacteria that they can destroy according to their own abilities. The largest dust eliminates particles like sand from the sediment filter. Chemicals, heavy metals, fine dust particles eliminate all non-pure substances in water.
6. Installation and control
Once you start using the water purification system in your home, you don't have to worry about anything. If any failures or failures occur in your periodicly maintained treatment system, it can be intervened as quickly as can. And you don't have to deal with the cleanliness. In your home, the treatment systems that will allow you to drink water from your faucet just like when you were a child will allow you to enjoy the water to the fuller.

Air, water, heat, light and nutrients are the basic elements necessary for living things. Oxygen and water are the main elements. The cells that make up the living organism need water to sustain their life activities. Water is one of the most essential substances for life. Thirst is very difficult to withstand. Although the person can live for about 5 weeks by drinking water alone without food, he can only endure thirst for 7-12 days. You're a three-month-old federated man who's just at the beginning of life.
